Flowers & Dots

Didn't this come out so cute?!
I finally got my red, black & white card.
That is my favorite color combination and
I just love the flowers & dots.

Another Father's Day Card

Here's another FD Card that I made at the last minute as a request.
I used the new Tim Holtz "Woodgrain" embossing folder,
some tiny brads and those 'manly' stamps.
The skill saw is from Clear Dollar Stamps, the hammer is from
Our Craft Lounge and I just can't remember who
the HFD stamp is from but bought it at HL.

Wedding Card Request

My parents asked me to make a card for some friends that are getting
married. So this is my first for a wedding card.
I used 3 sizes of the petite scalloped nestabilities, dry embossed the
edges of layer that is stamped and used the half pearls around
the scallops. I also used black candy dots on the corners.
This is where I wish I had learned to heat emboss.
It would have had that little bit of more of a 'wow' factor.
That's the next technique on my roster to take on.

My Dad's Card

My dad loves music and plays the guitar. He actually got to play background on stage with his good friend Richard Kaiser and the great Charlie McCoy this past winter. I used SCAL to cut some svg files that I saved up just for this card.
He adored it !!

Father In Laws Card

My father in-law likes to watch the birds. So I thought it would suit him fine. I did some coloring which is not a usual thing for me but I think it turned out well. I put eyelets in the ribbon to give it a more masculine look.

Different Look, Same Sketch

Here's a couple of birthday cards I made using the same sketch. It's amazing how different they can look using various patterned papers.

Another Birthday Card for Family

This turned out nicely. I used platinum ink and some flourishes and randomly stamped the green. Once I did that the melon became the right color choice to compliment the luscious green.

The flower stamp is 'You Are Beautiful' from Close To My Heart

Same Style, Different Colors

Hello, weather is so hot lately, but not complaining too much as I'd rather have it this hot than as cold as we had this past winter.

OK, now to the cards.... Birthday cards that I made similar to each other. I made the blue one for my sister in-law's birthday and liked how it turned out. So I decided to do another card in yellow and liked it even better, so I sent that one to her. I put a blue and yellow piece under the flowered pieces to give a colored shadow to them. You can really see it behind the yellow one.

These flowers are 'Sassy Stems' from Stampin' Up.

Party Card

You know how it is when you see something, maybe a certain image, and it triggers an idea. Then you can see the perfect patterned paper in you mind, knowing that you have it. So you plunder and dig and dig until you find it!!
That's exactly what I did. I made a set of 10 party invitations. They come with envelopes. I think they turned out great !

Father's Day Cards

Coming up with a masculine card can be rather challenging. So here's some I came up with. I had a lot of fun making these.

Baby Cards

Here's some cards I made for those moms to be, baby showers or those new arrivals.

Graduation-Congratulation Cards

Here are some congratulation cards. Some are specific to graduation where some could be used for other accomplishments.
