Cards From 2009

Here are some of the cards I made last Fall. I would usually make 3 or 4 until I used up all of that particular patterned paper.

Jay's Birthday Card

This card, I made for my nephew's 4th birthday. A very simple card with such a cute squirrel and sentiment. Eyelets on each corner finish it off.

Card Sets For Gifts

Here are a couple of sets I made this month for gifts. (I need a bigger background and yes, I was in a hurry when I took the photos, sorry.) The paper is CTMH and most of the stamps are Inkadinkadoo plus I used various embossing folders and Nestabilities. Again, a cute little bag and envelopes.

Card Sets for Fundraiser

Here are some more sets I made in March for the fundraiser mentioned in my previous post. There are 5 cards and a cute little box with ribboned handle complete with envelopes. These make perfect gifts to those who love to write notes to friends.

Silent Auction

This is a set of cards I made for a fund raiser silent auction in March. I used a MS stamp and used various middles in each. I know they sold, but not sure how much it brought into the fundraiser. These were a lot of fun because it was like an assembly line. Once I got one card made I cut everything out for the rest and pieced them together, one right after the other.

Niece's Birthday

Here are a couple of cards that I recently made. I started making one for a niece's birthday. She loves those bright colors and funky shapes. Once I got started I ended up making 2 cards. They were a lot of fun.

My First !!

This is my first official blog so what would be more appropriate than to post my first home made card. I am excited to be able to post my creations. I started out scrapbooking and then tried my hand at my first card last summer. One birthday card led to another and making cards is by far my favorite thing to do. There are so many techniques that I'm still trying to learn.
