Wedding Cards

Here's some wedding cards I made earlier this month that I needed 
to get posted. I made these mostly from scraps as I have 
been doing mostly this month.

I used Cuttlebug die cuts, Nestabilities Classic and Petite Ovals and 

Scalloped Ovals, SU and MS border punches, half pearls and ribbons.

Just Buzzin'

This is so cute ! I used bugs from several different sets of stamps. The circle where the ant is actually covering up a goofy accident. I was almost through with the card and had a touch of ink on the side of my hand. Well you can take it from there... I was disgusted, but my brain went into high gear and came up with a cool cover-up. 

I just love the little bug with the sunglasses!

Here's a card I made earlier this month (before my scrap ventures). 

But coincidently it was made from scraps. Oh well, it was another attempt to do some coloring and to get another masculine card made.

A few eyelets and little squiggle punches makes a CAS Birthday Card.

More Scrap Patterned Paper

  I'm still learning to color and was advised (guided) to start with watercolor pencils. I'll have to say this has been great advise. I am pleased with the way this came out even though my blending is still not the greatest...I know, practice makes perfect !! 

Yes this pp is from some scraps I have piled up and I just threw that last 2x3 leftover piece away.

This stamp is 'Summer By The Sea' by Stampin' Up and the sentiment is from Fiskars Clear Quote Stamps-Friends. I don't remember the make or name of the pp but it's a pretty plaid 2 sided paper.

Using Those Scraps

I have so many scraps of 'this and that' so I needed to start cleaning 

it out by creating. So I have made a few coordinating cards. These are pretty CAS Birthday and Friend Cards. I am still working on more of them and will it be for quite a while before I can get things cleaned out. I will probably take on this project for most of August, maybe into September. I just don't need anymore patterned paper for a while. No excuses. I don't need supplies (of any sort) for a long time ,,,,, well, except for adhesives. 

(We've all said that before, haven't we.) I have a good inventory of solid card stock and you know that I'll have to get more if I find it on sale. 

In all honesty...

 I have enough supplies to last me ....let's say,,,, until August 2012 ???

Cool Result

I bought this ribbon several months ago 

with good intentions of using it right away. 

(Don't we all do this?). Well one day I came across one 

of my flower stamps and remembering the ribbon 

I started putting this together. 

I also trimmed a piece off of a flourish to make the swirl. 

I used Candy Dots, ribbon and Petite Oval & Petite Scalloped Oval Nestibilities.

Such a warm thoughtful card for a friend.

I used the stems and flowers from 

CTMH's 'You Are Beautiful'. I lightly 

spritzed the petals with water 

before stamping onto the card. 

It gave a lovely effect.

Birthday Wishes

Yes, I did copy this from somebody, 

don't remember who as it's been a while,

but had to try it out. 

A quick, simple card that I think came out nicely.

I used a dauber on the white strip

 on the left and it looks

kind of like balloons,,,,use your imagination.

Mother In Law's Birthday Card

 The picture just doesn't do this card justice.

 It turned out so pretty. I used Nestabilities

Petite Oval and partnered Scalloped Oval, ribbon, 

then Candy Dots for that last detail.

Birthday Cruise

Here's a birthday card I made just last week. 

I think it's so cute.

The inside says,  

"Will you pick up my mail for me?"

This turned out to be so cute !!

 I used the Nestabilities Classic Oval and

it's companion, the Scalloped Classic Oval.
